Jack Roberts & Clyde McArty
Jack passed away on May 3, 2005.
Then only a month and a half later, Clyde passed away. These two gentlemen created
some of the best jazz ever played. I am thankful for all the wonderful memories,
musical and otherwise.
Jack played with this group for 18 years. Before that he played with many, many other musicians. As Shree said at the funeral, we all were very lucky to share 'our time' with Jack. He touched many lives along the way and will be missed. He will also be remembered in every note I play.
Clyde played with our group many times as a
guest musician, and especially for the Dixieland gigs. He and Jack were the featured
performers in our CD project, "Dixieland Treasures". Clyde and Jack will
be remembered as just that, true musical treasures.
